This half day fun-filled tour will bring you to see the penguins in Cape Town South Africa at the Penguin Sanctuary in Simonstown. Boulders beach in Simon’s Town is home to the African Penguin colony, also known as the jackass penguins because their loud cry sounds just like a donkey’s bray.
Before setting out to see the Boulders Beach penguins, the tour starts from Cape Town city with a picturesque drive along the beautiful Atlantic Sea Board, stretching from the popular V&A Waterfront in the bay beneath Table Mountain, all the way along the Cape Peninsula to Hout Bay. We'll pass the trendy promenades of Camps Bay and the beautiful beaches of Clifton and Llandudno, playground of the rich and famous.
As a furry preview to the penguins, we will make a seal stop in Hout Bay, where you may like to take a ferry to Duiker Island to see a large colony of thousands of Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment. Duiker Island is also known as Seal Island. Hout Bay is also home to surfers' paradise Dungeons Reef, where the annual Red Bull Big Wave surfing competition is held in winter. We'll catch the penguins on the flip side of the Hout bay breakers and their big wave riders.
Finally we make our way to Simon’s Town for some African penguin viewing. At Boulder’s beach, you can take your time to observe the penguins behaviour, with good views from the walkway above their coves and nesting sites, with the birds free in their natural environment. One pair of African Penguins settled in Boulders Beach in 1983 and since then the penguin colony has grown rapidly. Study their fascinating habits up close and guess what, if you are brave enough to take the chilly plunge, then Boulders Beach South Africa is the only place in the world where you can swim with the penguins!

You've heard all about safaris in South Africa, and you happen to be touring Cape Town because it is the most fabulous place to be, but you're worried that you can only view the Big Five wildlife wonders at the Kruger National Park… worry no more, your Cape Town Safari Tour awaits you.
There are several game farms and game reserves within 2.5 hours drive from Cape Town, where a variety of wild animal species can be viewed, stalked and admired including the Big Five game.
On our safari tour game drive, we’ll go searching far and wide for these sort-after herds in remote spots and secret lairs; because you know of course that the Big 5 do not hang out together because that would be pretty cramped as far as attitudes and space go. The big game animals that make up the term Big Five are the Lion, the African Elephant, the Buffalo, the Leopard and the Rhinoceros. They are South Africa’s biggest crowd pullers.
But since were dishing out points and pointers, don't let the Big 5 hog all the attention because in South Africa and the Western Cape, there are loads of wild animals and birds to take happy snaps of, such as the long-legged giraffe and the giant-egged Ostrich.
So FS Tours will help you to combine this safari tour with your Cape Town holiday or travel.
Because these animals do their best to stay out of human sight, you’ll need our expert tour guide to track them down with you. So for a truly African game experience discuss your wildlife wonderings with our qualified tour guide and plan your safari adventure today. Or were you were actually hoping to catch up with the Jack-ass penguin, or the Southern Right Whale?
This safari tour departs at 06h00 to catch those early riser animals at the watering holes. We return to Cape Town city at about 17h00.
The Safari tour costs R1950pp including transport from Cape Town accommodation, breakfast and lunch, and for 4 or more people we can arrange private transport. |

And as they say, safety in numbers, so invite a few friends to experience this chilling but worth it shark cage diving day trip, and we're sure it'll be your best birthday or unbirthday celebration ever.
This tour leaves early from Cape Town by bus or private transportation, depending on the number of great white shark divers you plan to squeeze into your cage, and then it's a suspense building 2 hour drive to Dyer Island, the shark cage diving capital of South Africa.
After this escapade, some people say that these great white fishies, measuring up to 6m in length and weighing in at 2250kg, are curious and playful like boisterous puppies, which makes me wonder why we need the shark cage to view them up close and personal?! Why not find out for yourself what it feels like to be on the inside of the cage surrounded by hungry dangerous predators, book today, it's surreal dude!
