The Cape Point full day guided tour starts from Cape Town city with a picturesque drive along the beautiful Atlantic Sea Board, stretching from the popular V&A Waterfront in the bay beneath Table Mountain, all the way along the Cape Peninsula to Hout Bay. En route to Cape Point, we'll pass the trendy promenades of Camps Bay and the beautiful beaches of Clifton and Llandudno, playground of the rich and famous.

False Bay from Cape Point

Hout Bay
We will make a seal stop in Hout Bay, where you may like to take a ferry to Duiker Island to see a large colony of thousands of Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment. Duiker Island is also known as Seal Island. Hout Bay is also home to surfers' paradise Dungeons Reef, where the annual Red Bull Big Wave surfing competition is held in winter. Dungeons reef is a famed spot for surfers, said to produce the largest “rideable” breakers in Africa.

Cape Point
From Hout Bay, weather permitting, we will take Chapman’s Peak drive and pass through the little seaside town of Noordhoek, en route to Cape Point, the most southerly tip of Africa. Situated in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point is a nature lovers’ paradise and you will have plenty of time to explore all the beautiful scenery of Cape Point, known for its indigenous fynbos vegetation and the historic Cape Point lighthouse. You may hike up the mountain to see the lighhouse if feeling energetic or hop on the environmentally friendly funicular railway, which provides a Flying Dutchman-themed adventure.

Simon's Town
We continue to our next stop, Seaforth Beach in Simon’s Town for some African penguin viewing. At Boulder’s beach, you can take your time to observe the penguins behaviour, with good views from the walkway above their coves and nesting sites, with the birds free in their natural environment. One pair of African Penguins settled in Boulders Beach in 1983 and since then the penguin colony and sanctuary has grown. Study their fascinating habits up close and guess what, if you are brave enough to take the chilly plunge, then Boulders Beach South Africa is the only place in the world where you can swim with the penguins! We will have lunch in Simon’s Town.

Constantia Wine Tasting

On our way back to Cape Town, time permitting, we may visit a wine estate in Constantia for wine tasting and historic sightseeing. The South African wine industry has its roots in Constantia, with monuments and attractions dating back to 1685.
